The Edison Wetlands Association (EWA) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to protecting environmentally sensitive areas of central New Jersey and beyond through education, action and public awareness.
The EWA was founded in 1993 direct action has had a profound positive impact on the quality of life for all of New Jersey families and our shared environment.
Two of our largest projects, the restoration of the Triple C Ranch and Nature Center and Rabbit Greens Community Park are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.
The EWA is diligently working to complete the necessary work to reopen after the deadly 2021 Hurricane Ida.

Here is one of the largest trees in the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area, which EWA helped preserve and continues to manage as an ecological resource for central New Jersey.

This was part of the Raritan River Project and walkway, which was funded by the EWA's Supplemental Environmental Funds. We worked on its design for many years along with the cleanup of the Mound B portion of Kin-Buc Landfill. This was Phase I of a three-phase project that was supposed to involve the closure of Edison Landfill.

A failed cleanup plan could result in a devastating intersection of two health threats in New Jersey: the COVID-19 pandemic and a potential explosive release of chemical poisons.
