Today, we honor Steven Lawrence for his incredible 15-year journey with CS Energy. As a licensed Professional Engineer in NY and a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer™, Steven’s expertise has been a cornerstone of our success.

With nearly two decades in the renewable energy industry, Steven has contributed to projects of all sizes – from residential and off-grid systems to large commercial and utility-scale installations. His versatility, problem-solving skills, and innovative mindset have driven countless projects forward.

Steven has also played a vital role in developing templates and tools that ensure our designs are both efficient and code-compliant. Currently, he supports our BESS team, creating templates and procedures, developing creative solutions for unique use cases, and supporting the installation of cutting-edge battery energy storage projects.

Fun fact: When he’s not designing renewable energy systems, Steven is an avid scuba diver, exploring the wonders beneath the waves!

CS Energy is hiring! We're looking for a Project Controls Specialist to join our team.

The Project Controls Specialist works under the guidance of our Project Controls Leadership and in partnership with our Operations Team to provide a single point of contact for Cost and Schedule across a portfolio of projects. This role will include preparing and maintaining various Project Controls tools, including, but not limited to, Cost and Resource-Loaded CPM Schedules, Project Forecast Sheets, and Four-Week Lookahead Reports.

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in EPC project controls. A bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college is preferred.
