Do I criticize automated machines for being sub par? Do I bust on and for charging people $$$$ for doing a poor job? Sure I do, and deservedly so!
However it ALWAYS comes down to the operator 100% of the time!
Case in point: local pro shop in an ice arena with a manual machine and an operator who doesn't know what they are doing, or doesn't care, but most likely both.
Not all skate sharpening is created equal!!

My favorite "we don't specialize in figure skates" excuse...perhaps you don't SPECIALIZE in skate sharpening?
