I'm running for mayor because I see a different vision for Edison. Lowering taxes, eliminating wasteful spending and fighting corruption locally will make our community more prosperous and affordable for years to come. As one of the largest towns in New Jersey, our actions in reforming municipal government can set an example for the rest of the state and beyond. My community involvement and busine
ss experience makes me uniquely qualified to be the next mayor of Edison Township. First and foremost, I am a husband and loving father of two daughters. I want to see Edison succeed so one day my children can grow up to have the same opportunities we've enjoyed, hopefully one day viewing the option to stay in their hometown as a benefit rather than a burden. In business, I worked my way up from an intern position to owning my own successful business. I am also an active member of the Edison Chamber of Commerce. Not only am I aware of how government overreach affects my bottom line, but I'm also in sync with the needs of other business owners in Edison. With this insight, I can create and help implement the right policies to create jobs and jump start our local economy. Community outreach is something that is very important to me. I am the President of the largest South Asian community organization in the region and I am a board member of the Visionary Edison Lions Club. I have also utilized my leadership skills to organize events and celebrations for causes that are close to my heart. I look forward to having the opportunity to provide fresh perspective and new leadership in Edison Township. I look forward to having the opportunity to provide new leadership in Edison Township. I ask for your support in the upcoming June 4th Primary.
