Neck pain is quite common, especially now with much of our lives glued to screens. The most common cause of neck pain is muscle strain and it’s commonly caused from poor posture either while sitting hunched forward at a desk staring at a computer screen, or sleeping improperly. More chronic neck pain can be caused from injury to the disc and joint structures. Here, Dr. Parikh is teaching our patient the anatomy of the cervical spine (neck) and why certain postures and injuries can result in nagging and sometimes significantly limiting pain symptoms.
