Some of you might remember this Integra GSR from a previous visit to our Edinburg location when we tracked down a VTEC issue 🔧

This time, it arrived with a no-start concern.

With no obvious fault codes pointing us in the right direction, our team went through the diagnostic process step by step, eliminating possibilities and verifying each part of the system rather than guessing and throwing parts at the vehicle.

As these classic Hondas continue to age, electronic components become more susceptible to failure. After further testing, we inspected the ECU and found visible damage to the main board that explained the no-start condition.

We sourced a replacement ECU, completed the installation, and got this Integra back up and running so it could get back to its owner.

This is exactly why proper diagnostics matter. A little testing can save a lot of unnecessary parts, time, and money—especially when there’s no check engine light to point you in the right direction.
