Did anyone else grow up celebrating March 4th as “March Forth” day?

When my boys were little, our neighbor had all the kids grab pots and pans and march down the street in a joyful little parade.

It stuck with me.

March Forth! When my boys were little, there was a family of four who lived down the street. The mom was wonderfully quirky in the best possible way, and she introduced our neighborhood to the magic of “March 4th.”Each year on the 4th of March, her family invited all the neighborhood kids to “March Forth.....

This isn't about lowering expectations.

It's about meeting the brain where it is and giving it what it needs to grow.
