As Flaanimal 6.0 arrivals approach, 5.0 remains as great as ever. There aren’t many unsold frames left to work with, but the last ones trickle out here and there. Wade’s is yet another personalized build with special requests including the shock stop seatpost and handlebars which provide a softer and more ergonomic ride. Wade also opted for a power meter spider on his cranks. The Poteau Mountain semi slick gravel tire boasts a three year develop and secured three new patents for its unique design. The rest of the build is a go-to mix of GRX drivetrain, our very own ultra strong 3.0X wheels, and of course a Quasar saddle.

Enjoy your new Flaanimal Wade! She’s an absolute beaut.

Hold onto your butts indeed! Brindle Custom Finishes lost control of their inhibitions and created the next great custom paint manifesto with a Rodeo as the canvas. We would take you on a verbal tour of this bike, but what’s the point? You have to SEE the details to understand, and preferably you’ll see the details with 3D glasses, because yes he did that too.

We do love an absolutely joyful paint project like this. All the color. All the craftsmanship, all the winks and details. Is that the Google video game that loads when the internet is down?!

By the way, we don’t paint non-Rodeo bikes, but Brindle does, and if Brindle can pull this project off, they can do whatever you dream up too.

Happy New Bike Day, Adam!

Did y’all see that new Ferrari EV? Well, this isn’t that, thank God. This is a lovely Flaanimal 5.0, custom painted in a shade of red that certainly could be called “rossa-something-or-other”. Johnny Ive did not design this bike, we did, FTW! This build is set up for actual unironic road duty! Look at those beautiful not-even-huge slick tires. Reminds us of kinder, gentler days of cycling in a good way. But what’s this? Extra flat bar brake levers up front? Absolutely. Why? Well, they work quite nicely and the customer asked for them. We build our not-Ferraris one at a time around here, and you can have them any way you like.

Happy new Flaanimal 5 day, Mr Capobianco! It may not be a prancing horse, but that’s only because a Flaanimal is actually an alpaca.
