Are you passionate about holistic wellness, spirituality, conscious living, and connecting with amazing people?

We're looking for a handful of enthusiastic volunteers to help us create an unforgettable experience at the 11th Annual Maple Grove Psychic & Holistic Expo on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Maple Grove Community Center.

As a volunteer, you'll help welcome guests, support vendors and speakers, assist with event activities, and be part of a community dedicated to curiosity, healing, growth, and connection.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗮: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸

Kona is a sweet, shy guy who takes a little time to warm up, especially around new people. He's definitely more of a ladies' man and tends to feel most comfortable with women at first. When meeting strangers, he may bark to let you know he's unsure, but with a little patience (and maybe a treat or two), his soft, affectionate side quickly shines through.

This handsome boy loves other dogs and enjoys a good game of chase in the yard. While he looks like a big dog, Kona firmly identifies as a lap dog and would be happiest curled up next to his favorite person after a day of fun.

New experiences can make Kona nervous. Car rides and walks may feel a little overwhelming at first, but he's the kind of dog who gains confidence over time when he knows he's safe and supported. Watching him grow braver each day is one of the many rewards of loving him.

Kona is highly motivated by treats and has a special talent for keeping an eye on your snack bag during walks, you'll never forget where you put it when he's around! His love of treats makes training and bonding extra rewarding.

Whether you're enjoying a sunset stroll, relaxing on the patio, or spending a summer evening in the backyard, Kona is ready to be your loyal shadow. All he needs is a patient family willing to give him a chance to blossom into the amazing companion he's meant to be.

MACC is open Monday- Friday from 1:00-5:30 PM for adoptions, and Saturday from 11:00- 2:30 PM. Kona has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption.
