🦟 MOSQUITO SPRAYING NOTICE 🦟

The Bergen County Mosquito Control Division will be conducting mosquito control treatments in the Borough of East Rutherford on:

📅 Friday, June 19, 2026
🕛 Time: 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM

The treatment is being performed to help reduce adult mosquito populations and protect public health.

Residents are encouraged to:
✔️ Remain indoors during spraying when possible
✔️ Close windows and doors
✔️ Bring pets, pet food/water dishes, toys, and laundry indoors
✔️ Avoid direct contact with wet surfaces until they have dried

⚠️⚠️ Borough Road Closures ⚠️⚠️

‼️ Hackensack Street

Hackensack Street will be closed between Union Avenue and the Rutherford border due to milling and paving.

‼️ Central Avenue

Central Avenue will be closed between Maple Avenue and Mozart Street due to curbs and sidewalk improvements.

‼️ Locust Lane

Locust Lane near York Street is expected to have sporadic closures throughout the day due to road work being done on York Street.

⚠️ Please follow all posted detours and do not drive around traffic cones or marked police vehicles. Please be patient while traveling these areas.

All roads are scheduled to be reopened by 5pm this evening.
