“We were chosen by God to love and serve His people.” — Nurse Sterina

For 11 years, Sterina has helped grow Mummy Drayton Clinic from a small first-aid room into a lifeline for the Kambuga community. From immunization and antenatal care to family planning and community outreach, her work continues to touch countless lives.

This International Nurses Day, we celebrate the nurses who show up every day with compassion, resilience, and hope for healthier communities.

A Mother’s Day!

68 years old.
Six grandchildren.
One extraordinary kind of love. ❤️

Every morning before dawn, Violet wakes up to prepare breakfast, pack food for school, and care for the children she is raising alone.

After losing four of her own children to HIV/AIDS and her husband in 1995, life asked her to become a mother all over again.

“There is no day I wake up and buy meat,” she says quietly, “yet my children have no uniform, no shoes, no scholastic items.”

So she chooses their future first. Every single time.

And at night, she tells them stories so they know where they come from.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate grandmothers like Violet whose love doesn’t end with their own children, but stretches across generations. 🌍✨

She is not just raising children.
She is raising the future.
