Our Alaska clinic is located in Eagle River, serving Anchorage & the Mat-Su Valley. Our Nebraska office provides clinic based services for the Greater Omaha area. Our newest office located in northern California provides clinic-based services for the Vacaville and Fairfield areas, and home, clinic and community-based services in the Central Valley. We have a fantastic staff of BCBAs, BCABAs, RBTs and Behavior Technicians. At Behavior Matters, each program will be developed to help families with loved ones diagnosed with developmental disabilities such as, Autism, PPD or Asperger’s Syndrome. The program will be developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analysts and utilizes principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to change behavior. Applied Behavior Analysis owes no affiliation with a particular intervention; rather it is a scientific problem-solving approach aimed at producing socially significant behavior changes for the purpose of improving quality of life for individuals, families and communities. ABA is backed by over 40 years of research and is still considered to be the most effective treatment for dealing with behaviors associated with Autism. Individual Clients:
• Conduct assessments (direct observations, interviews, functional assessment screening tools ie. VB-MAPP &
ABBLS-R)
• Develop function-based behavior assessment (FBA)/ functional analysis (FA) reports
• Develop function-based treatment plans, program reviews, and updates
• Develop data collection systems
• Consultation for home-based ABA programs
• Community based training
• Therapist/ Staff training
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the clients life (speech pathologists, psychiatrists,
psychologists, etc.)
• Provide training in-home and/or community training
• Provide training to parents/ family or staff members in “principals of behavior analysis”
• Provide strategies to increase appropriate behaviors such as: language, communication, social skills, on-task
