Meet Jovana Martinez! Jovana found LCI through a fellow member of the Blind Center of Nevada who worked at the Las Vegas Distribution Center. Intrigued by LCI’s mission to empower people who are blind, she knew it was the right fit and she became part of the LCI family in September 2021. Jovana's professional growth has been fueled by a hunger to learn and a deep commitment to excellence. She’s taken part in training sessions focused on communication and collaboration, making her a stronger team player and more effective with customers. Recently, she completed a keyboarding basics session and is now enrolled in JAWS Boot Camp, further preparing her for greater independence and success in her role. Beyond her contributions at work, Jovana finds joy volunteering at the Blind Center of Nevada, helping with ceramics, Bingo, and gym activities, all while still finding cherished time to spend with her family. Jovana’s future goals reflect her drive to grow within LCI, she aspires to move from her current CSR role to new opportunities such as CCC and maybe someday into management.

In addition to his technical expertise, Shawn is known for his calm, constructive approach to problem-solving. His willingness to take on additional responsibilities, including his impactful support during store inventories, reflects both his strong work ethic and commitment to LCI’s Core Values.
