Join us on Tuesday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. for a warm, informative session designed especially for grandparents. Together, we’ll explore what autism is, acknowledge the hopes and dreams that come with grandparenting, and discuss how those experiences may look different when supporting a grandchild on the autism spectrum. Participants will learn practical, compassionate ways to build meaningful connections with their grandchild and discover helpful strategies for supporting their adult children as parents. This program offers guidance, understanding, and a welcoming space for questions and shared experiences.

If you have any questions, please contact Chelsea Romero ([email protected]) or Cindy Martin ([email protected])

On Thursday, celebrate Women’s History Month with a fun and inspiring coding adventure! In this hands-on program, kids will learn about a trailblazing woman in technology—such as Ada Lovelace or Grace Hopper—and discover how her ideas helped shape the digital world we know today. Through storytime and discussion, children will explore how women have made powerful contributions to computer science and continue to lead the way in innovation. After the story, participants will jump into action with a beginner-friendly coding tutorial in Scratch, guided by instructors from Code Wiz. Kids will learn the basics of block-based coding as they create their own simple animation or game. No prior coding experience is needed—just curiosity and creativity!

This program encourages confidence, problem-solving, and big dreams while showing young learners that anyone can code. Join us as we honor women in tech and inspire the next generation of innovators!
