Documenting the Untold Stories of Global Q***r Communities 07/28/2025

For years, q***r stories have been misconstrued. Two of our alumni, Lucy Weyer Johnson and Paul Ngangula, are looking to change that with a new documentary film they’re co-directing called “Existence: The Untold Story of Q***r Lives.”

“This film is an invitation to everyone to see how q***r people live under the radar and how they acknowledge their own existence,” says Ngangula. “We hope to push that acknowledgment and acceptance of q***r people so others can see who we are.”
