What are you doing Thursday 12/19? Come over to BCYF Studio for a 90 minute (pre)solstice gathering. 

This guided experience offers a sacred pause to acknowledge and honor your inner warrior through mindfulness, clarity, and grace.

Through gentle and restorative yoga, guided meditation, and artful journal prompts, we’ll create space to reflect on the shadows of the warrior while also connecting to the warrior’s greatest gifts: clarity, compassion, and presence. 

Slow down, honor the season, and leave with tools to land in your rhythm for mindful action. ✨ Come as you are.

Grandmother Ocean was carried up the gulf, across several states, and to Western NC leaving our communities struggling with flooding, landslides, and no water or power.

As I drove west across the state this past Saturday, seeing the signs stating that I-40 was closed, hit me deep in my bones. This fear rose up, not just my own, but imagining the fear of not being able to reach the people and places that need our help the most.

A bit of relief came when I saw a dear friend on Zoom, even if just for a moment, to hear that they were safe and that neighbors are stepping up to support each other as best they can.

In times like this, the weight can feel heavy. That’s why it’s so important to pause, take a deep breath, and realign our energy, so we can offer support with open hearts.

I hope you find a space that offers softer moments to regroup and recharge, so our efforts can be stronger and more focused.
