Thankful!
When you're thankful...
You're joyful.
When you're complaining...
You're miserable.
You may be going through something difficult...
Something you didn't ask for.
It may be out of your control.
But what you do control...
Is your thoughts.
You choose to look for the bad...
To let that fill you.
You choose to look for the good...
To focus on that.
One dejects you.
One uplifts you.
One derails you.
One propels you.
The devil is always trying to sneak poison into our minds.
The devil wants us in the gutter.
He wants us discouraged.
He wants us destructive.
God knows this.
That's why He told us...
To be thankful.
A thankful attitude...
It's not just wise.
A thankful attitude...
It's a weapon.
It's a weapon that the devil can't fight.
It's a choice he can't control.
He wants to negatively impact you.
He wants to break you.
But you're in complete control.
He doesn't run you.
You make Him run away.
(James 4:7)
So, let's do our best to look for the good...
To look for the positive.
It's both a shield and a weapon.
It's protection.
It's power.
Use it.

For some, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
But for many… it’s the most STRESSFUL time of the year.
Here are 3 things to do when you feel stress trying to creep in on you:
1. Pause to Pray.
Treat stress or worry as a signal to pray. Take 15 seconds and pray. When you do, "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds." (Philippians 4:7)
2. Time for Thanks.
Every time you feel worry or stress, take 5 or 10 seconds just to thank God for the answer you need. Prayer with thanksgiving is undefeated!
3. Be a Blessing.
The world of the generous gets larger and larger… (Proverbs 11:24). When you find someone to bless with a small note, gift, or an encouraging word, it puts life in proper perspective.
A simple prayer, a word of thanks, or an act of generosity are three weapons of mass destruction against worry and stress. Use them often. God’s peace flows abundantly through these mighty forces.
