One of my favorite things about shaped edges is how they bring movement into the cloth and exposed unwoven yarn— like the various flight patterns of birds and the flutter of falling leaves.

In this workshop, we’ll explore:
• shaped edges that stay secure and intentional
• connecting forms vs letting them stand alone
• hands-on practice from simple to expressive
• space to experiment, supported at your own pace

All skill levels welcome — I’ll meet you right where you are.

If your weaving wants more curiosity and less perfection, I would love to weave alongside you.

📅 2-day workshop — registration open now at the Seattle Weavers Guild.

There’s a moment in weaving when the cloth reminds us that it doesn’t have to stay inside the lines — and that’s exactly what this upcoming workshop is about. 🌿

I’m opening registration for “Beyond Rectangles: Shaped Edges in Weaving,” a two-day, hands-on exploration where we let the edges wander, curve, dip, and surprise us.

Whether you’re newer to weaving or have years at the loom, if you can dress a loom, you’re ready to join me on this creative detour.

📅 January 24-25
✨ Limited spots — I keep these workshops intimate so everyone gets attention.

If your weaving practice is asking for something a little braver… this is a beautiful place to begin.
