Advancing accessibility not as accommodation, but as artistic practice.

We are so proud to celebrate our expert collaborator, Hillary Honig Ensminger, and her powerful solo exhibition As I See It at North Star Church of the Arts!

This inspiring exhibition and community outreach project beautifully dismantles the myths around disability and vision loss, revealing the limitless possibilities of creative expression. A visual artist and lifelong dancer, Hillary's monotypes and monoprints are infused with the rhythms of tango, salsa, and Afro-Cuban dance—each piece a testament to resilience, memory, and movement beyond sight.

✨ All events are free and open to the public!

🗓 Don’t miss the closing reception, documentary screening, and communal dance + potluck on June 21!

ID: A joyful and vibrant scene from enVISION: The Next Chapter. At the forefront, enVISION collaborator Hillary Honig Ensminger, wearing sunglasses, a light green tank top, and a green skirt with a sweatshirt tied around her waist, smiles warmly while dancing. Behind her, SDW Company member Elizabeth Bailey in a white shirt, black bow tie, and pastel tutu energetically raises a hat in the air, beaming with joy. Other dancers are partially visible in the background, one of whom is blindfolded, contributing to the sense of playful, expressive movement. The performers are bathed in colorful stage lighting, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere against a dark backdrop sprinkled with small, glowing lights.
