The Optimal Human

Heard an interesting Morning Joe segment from this morning regarding a national epidemic of loneliness causing many health issues, up to and including premature death. This attracted my attention, because of the close familiarity of the symptoms to those of unmanaged systemic racism. I’m sure loneliness is a major problem, but as a Christian, I never worried about being alone, given the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Then I hear the Surgeon General utter words that will forever greatly annoy me, “we are hardwired to connect with one another.” This annoys me, because the Surgeon General and others like him frequently use this phrase and it could not be further from the truth. There are no inherent wires in our being systems. We are made of energy and consciousness (a form of energy) full stop period.

My forthcoming book, Ending Racism, will contain abundant detail addressing this issue of loneliness. Wake up, America, the way our parents, our caregivers, our teachers, and our society have taught us to do life is very far wide of the mark, and we are now paying the price in various ways, mostly tragic and resulting in death in one way or another.

At the same time, it is not too late, we have a reasonable amount of time to get on the right track.

In short, people who are lonely, need to have a coaching engagement with me or someone like me.
