WISER

As a peer to peer psychosocial support structure, WISER utilizes houses of wisdom. These are houses that facilitate conversations and collective growth, whilst building lasting friendships! Additionally, mentorship and instilling life skills as some of the key roles of the houses of wisdom. Recently, WISER hosted Kenya Connect staff who learned about this model through house leaders and peer educators.

The girls at WISER recently initiated a tree planting program, aimed at improving the climate one step at a time. In collaboration with the Ratieny Environmental Association and Ratieny Comprehensive Environmental club, the girls not only learned about the impact of climate change but also their role in their community. 250 trees were planted! 💚
