"Whew! How'd you know? That recess was brutal Pop-pop."
You can use our scrubs for scalp clarifying/stimuating too! But just in case you don't have a grandpa like this, may we recommend a scrub for better body circulation?

A bit of history on this cool day. One reason why salt is so important to us is our ancestry.

This is a thread woven throughout our family, so it it was deeply natural to combine our herbal knowledge and practice with salt - which is both physically healing and energy clearing - esp when combined with bathing.

Blair Rudes, in the Etymology of Tuscarora described NC Indigenous relationship with salt in a "long-hand, eight-page letter addressed to me, Frank (Seibert Jr) makes the following observations with respect to the etymology
of the English name:
The Catawba form is taskaru*de* [tAskAru*de*] (Catawba tas ‘salt’, root karu*- kdry, evaporate’, and final -de* ‘eater, devourer’.)"

Tuscarude - the salt eaters - is different meaning than Skaroreh - Skarò˙rə̨ˀ refers to dogbane gatherers or "H**p Gatherers".

"Now, there is much evidence that the natives
of coastal N[orth] Car[olina], including the
Tuscarora, dried sea water to make salt, and also traded salt to inland tribes (Lederer, Yeardly, etc.)2 so the term is suitable."

We researched for the most pure salts available globally with minimal or no microplastics, and combine them with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, cedar, lavender, tea tree ([melaluca] and aloe vera juice, which my parents sold) eucalyptus, plus additional tree oils like cypress and pine in our blends with grey sea salt, pink rock salt, and dead sea mineral salt for muscle aches (as a bath soak) and body detox. They also are high mineral salts with iron, magnesium, and more - unbelievably healthy for skin and body!

🌿The Out of the Woods blend contains all of the tree oils, deeply therapeutic for skin and well-being whether used in shower or bath.

💗The seasonal Into Love blend has relaxing ylang ylang and frankincense - floral and supremely relaxing for the senses.

🌊 Winter Kiss is mint forward and refreshing with tree oils. (DEC-FEB)

🥧 Spice is Nice has antiviral cinnamon leaf instead of eucalyptus this time, with uplifting (antifungal, nerve calming) clove and orange.

🎂 Gingerly Kissed includes all the spices plus ginger and is especially good for circulation during winter months. (DEC-FEB)

We also offer fragrance-free Clear Sky Days with only our skin-hugging complex available in any box or single sizes. Customizing is available if requested.
