From Colorado Springs to Broken Arrow, this graduate’s journey has been fueled by determination, passion, and a love for learning! After earning an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from Tulsa Community College, Joseph Dobson went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Northeastern State University.

With hopes of using mathematics to solve real-world problems, he is preparing to make a meaningful impact through their future career. He shared that the Choctaw Nation Higher Education Program helped remove financial barriers, allowing them to focus more fully on their studies and academic success.

With 31 years of experience in the energy industry, Darrell’s dedication to continuing his education reflects his commitment to growth, leadership, and lifelong learning. He credits the Choctaw Nation Higher Education Program and employer tuition assistance for helping him achieve a lifelong dream.

Darrell plans to continue advancing into executive leadership within the power industry and is thankful for the unwavering support of his wife, Virginia, his children, his parents, and the Choctaw Nation community throughout his journey.

Join us in celebrating Robert Gambill on his incredible achievement! Robert graduated from Hesston College on May 16, 2026, earning his B.A. in Business Management while also competing as a member of the men’s basketball team. 🏀

Robert’s dedication both on the court and in the classroom has prepared him for his future goals of coaching high school boys basketball or men’s college basketball. He shared that higher education gave him the opportunity to attend college and accomplish his goal of earning a degree.
