What a ride. The inaugural Durango Bluegrass Train is officially in the books, and what an unforgettable weekend it was in the San Juan Mountains. From nonstop bluegrass on board to incredible scenery and an incredible community of fans, this first year exceeded every expectation.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made it so special—Friday and Saturday nights both sold out, and the energy on every departure was something we won’t forget.

What. A. Weekend. 🚂🎻⛰️
The first-ever Durango Bluegrass Train is officially in the books, and we’re still smiling.
Over three unforgettable days, we shared incredible music, breathtaking scenery, great drinks, new friendships, and countless memories aboard one of the most scenic railroads in America.
To everyone who rode with us, sang along, danced in the aisles, supported the bands, and helped create such an amazing atmosphere—thank you.
And wow... selling out Friday night and Saturday in our inaugural year exceeded all expectations. Thank you for making this dream a reality.

What a ride! 🚂🎻
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the first-ever Durango Bluegrass Train. From the incredible musicians and hardworking train crew to the fans who traveled from near and far, you made this inaugural event something truly special.
We're especially grateful for the amazing support that helped us sell out Friday night and Saturday's departures in our very first year.

TODAY’S THE DAY! The inaugural Durango Bluegrass Train officially rolls out tonight!
Boarding begins at 6:30 PM
Train departs at 7:00 PM sharp
IMPORTANT CHECK-IN INFO:
All guests must stop by the Box Office at the Train Depot to exchange tickets for wristbands before boarding. Wristbands are REQUIRED to access the train.
Box Office Location:
479 Main Avenue, Durango
(Look for the pop-up tent in front of the Train Depot)
Box Office Hours:
3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
We highly recommend checking in early to avoid lines before departure.
Grab dinner before boarding! Downtown Durango is packed with amazing restaurants, breweries, bars, and quick bites just steps from the depot.
Parking is available next to the rail yard at the corner of Hwy 550 & College Drive (west of McDonald’s).
Parking:
$10 — Standard vehicles
$20 — RVs, buses, trailers & oversized vehicles
We recommend bringing:
• A light jacket or raincoat
• Layers for cooler evening temps
• Closed-toe shoes
