MakerLab

This coming weekend we'll have a booth set up at the Craft Fair at the Fairgrounds, stop on by to say hi! It's also a great chance to get a last minute gift, MADE at MakerLab! We'll be set up from 11AM to 5PM on Friday, 9AM to 5PM Saturday, and 10AM to 1PM Sunday. Also on Sunday, we'll be hosting an Open House at the MakerLab for anyone interested in what we're all about; that will run from 1PM to 4PM, and we'll have any leftover gifts and/or ornaments for sale there as well!

If you can't make it this weekend, we'll have another Holiday Open House the next Sunday, December 14th, from 1PM to 4Pm as well! We hope to see you there!

This Sunday, November 10th, from 10AM to 4PM, we will be working on various space improvements and overall cleaning and de-cluttering. This is a great chance to stop by and see what MakerLab is all about, or to see some of our newer tools and equipment if you haven't been by in a while! We'll be hosting tours all day, so stop in and chat with us about all the things you could be MAKING!

We've cut some ridiculous materials with some ridiculous tools before for Halloween... and we will be doing so again come this Friday, October 25th. Our newest addition to our annual cutting of things will also include our water jet cutter, cutting things out of freaking steel!

We'll also be using lasers to carve up some pumpkins, offering all sorts of costuming advice, and also just be having a grand old time! We'd love to have you join us, Friday, 10/25/24 at 5pm! 434 Turner Drive STE 6, let's MAKE some Halloween fun!

What better way to get in the spirit of the spooky season, than by learning how to blow your very own glass pumpkin! This class will introduce you to core techniques of glassblowing, from gathering to shaping and color application! We'll have two separate classes on:

- October 19th from 1-4PM
- October 20th from 12-3PM

This Saturday at noon, learn how to use the tools in our Metal Shop safely, and if you've already covered your bases, learn how to use our mini lathe to make custom metal parts at 1PM!

Our CNC Plasma Cutter is also back in the shop, and is getting run through it's paces by a member lead team, so expect classes on it in the near future!
