Earth Day Durango

The Procession of the Species is back for Earth Day Durango on April 20th, parading down Main Ave to Buckely Park from 10:30-11am.

This year's theme, "Planet vs Plastics," is a call to action to fight plastic pollution. So get creative and design a costume that embodies the beauty of nature or the dangers of plastic. Whether you're a majestic hawk, a playful otter, or a swirling vortex of plastic waste, let your imagination run wild! ♻️

Earth Day should be everyday, right? Well, use all April to learn more about how we can all protect the earth. Complete 5 tasks on the Earth Month Bingo Card and enter a drawing to win gift certificates (everything from ice cream to home energy efficiency projects.)

On Earth Day, drop your off in the appropriate box by noon. We'll choose winners around 12:30.
