Batter up! This story from our 25 Stories series features Kate Cortis from Durango Baseball & Softball, one of our wonderful nonprofit partners from the 2025 Durango Wine Experience. The nonprofit partners of Durango Wine Experience provide a team of volunteers to help us run the two-day event at the end of April each year. In exchange, they receive a $2,500 grant and weekend passes to Durango Wine Experience the following year. Working with Durango Baseball & Softball was an absolute pleasure, and we are so appreciative of their hard work and what they do for youth sports across Southwest Colorado!
