Most of the attention goes straight to the kitchen, flooring, and layout. But one of the biggest factors in whether you’ll actually love your home long-term?

👉 The neighborhood.

Here are a few things I always tell my buyers to pay attention to:

1️⃣ Overflow parking
If streets are packed, it can sometimes indicate limited parking or higher occupancy.

2️⃣ Condition of surrounding homes
Are nearby properties well-kept? This plays a big role in your future resale value.

3️⃣ Hidden noise factors
That quiet showing might not reflect rush hour, school traffic, or evening activity.

4️⃣ Privacy & surroundings
Check what’s behind and around the home, apartments, businesses, or busy roads can change the feel quickly.

5️⃣ Visit at different times
Morning, afternoon, and evening can give you a completely different perspective.
