Help me today in asking Starbucks to . Big business with its reach, wealth and influence needs to make hard commitments to keeping plastic out of our oceans and our drinking water. Today Iām asking Starbucks at their annual shareholders meeting to phase-out plastic straws and renew their commitment to the sustainability goals around plastic which they set in 2008 but, 10 years later, have failed to meet.
Wouldn't this be wonderful!! We've had servers and bartenders "high five" us for asking not to be served straws....but THIS response would make us do a serious Happy Dance!ššš
