Let me tell you about this piece of art. Meet Grizzly 399, a famous bear from Yellowstone, often called the Queen of the Tetons. When our clients first asked for her photo on the wall, I thought they were joking. But now, thanks to the talented wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelsen, her stunning portrait brings beauty here. Grizzly 399 was a 28-year-old mother who raised 18 cubs in 8 different litters, and her image stands over 6 feet tall in this great room. We ordered this artwork just before she sadly passed away in a vehicle collision in October 2024. This is truly one of my favorite rooms so far.
