That little green tomato has been having a rough week… 🍅😔

We haven’t had our fried green tomatoes on the menu the last couple of weeks because our food distributor has been impacted by the deep freeze last month. Unfortunately, a lot of local farms and crops were hit hard, and that ripple effect has made its way all the way to our kitchen.

We’re especially thinking about the farmers and producers who’ve been affected- this kind of weather doesn’t just change menus, it impacts real people and livelihoods.

We miss those crispy fried green tomatoes just as much as you do (maybe more… but don’t tell the other menu items 👀). As soon as supply is back, they’ll be back where they belong.
