Paint schemes and detail scale! I’d like to have a quick chat about game development and sculpting models. When making these creatures, I always try to keep a thought in my head about how easy is this to paint? Sometimes what you see on the computer screen doesn’t translate to real life that well at this small scale. Here you have pictures of the Scron Broodmother, and the Slicer both with two very different color schemes. What you see here is also the third iteration of both of these miniatures as prior versions had issues after 3d printing them, such as teeth being too small, gaps between the arm joints being tight to paint, legs being too thin, you get the idea! I aim to make this space very transparent regarding all aspects of game progress, as so much goes in to it that I believe gets easily overlooked. So tell me which color scheme do you like the best?
