That's a wrap for the 2024 Illinois Trucking Association Annual Conference held in Lake Geneva WI.

Grateful for the opportunity to meet many great industry leaders from some of the most prestigious trucking organizations in the Midwest.

It was an honor to meet and hear from former Chicago Bear RB Raymont Harris who spoke on having an Elite Mindset.

Some Takeaways from this year’s topic are:
- Fleets need to adapt now more than ever as operating margins are very tight
- Embrace Technology and the insights it provides because your drivers are your customers. Anything you can do to make their job easier and safer is a plus.
- Illinois, Texas, and California have the highest recorded cargo theft from 2023-2024. Have an action plan and supplement solutions that can protect your drivers and assets wherever they are.

Great start to TCA Safety &Security Meeting.
Hearing from the Top Leaders of companies ranging from less than 100 trucks up to 22,000+ trucks show that we all face similar issues and there are solutions regardless of how large or small. Surrounding yourself with people who face the same problems is a classic way of finding solutions. This is truck safety, after all, and odds are others are seeking the same answers from people who have found them.
