Resolution honoring the life and extending condolences for the supreme sacrifice of
Officer David Tome of the Northern York County Regional Police Department who
was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, when he was struck
by a motor vehicle. HR 199 2011

Resolution to recognize April 30 as “National Take Back Initiative Day”
to bring attention to the April 30 National Take Back Initiative events to
be hosted throughout the Commonwealth and United States to help citizens
safely dispose of unused and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Act 24 2011

the PLANCON process when they are not seeking state reimbursement and allows

Language similar to my HB 1326 of 2011 was amended in to reduce the number
of exemptions to the voter referendum requirement in Act 1 of SS of 2006 school district can
raise property taxes with over the index. Act 17 2012
House Bill 816 would reduce the number of supervised experience hours
required to obtain a license from 3,600 to 3,000 for marriage and family therapists
and professional counselors, and would remove the specified number of years. It would also extend a grandfathered provision of the law to allow applicants who
graduated prior to June 30, 2009, to receive a license even if they were awarded
a master’s degree requiring less than 48 credits. Act 60 2012
Senate Bill 1310 was amended to include a measure from my House Bill 1852,
which addresses fraud in the system. The legislation, which passed the House in March,
will increase the department’s look back window from six to 10 years to collect fault
overpayments. These are payments made to a claimant who was ineligible but who lied
or misrepresented facts to receive benefits. Act 84 2012
HB 254 requires individuals seeking a Class M junior driver’s license to complete a
PennDOT-approved motorcycle safety course. House Bill 254 was amended in the
Senate to reauthorize the Philadelphia Automated Red Light Enforcement (ARLE)
pilot program, which was set to expire today, through June 15, 2017. The legislation
also allows for the expansion of the ARLE program into Pittsburgh and municipalities
with populations exceeding 20,000 residents in the counties of Bucks, Chester,
Delaware and Montgomery. HR 871 2012
A Resolution honoring Specialist Cameron J. Stambaugh of Spring Grove,
who was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan on July 8, 2012, by a
roadside IED while riding in a vehicle. Act 198 2012
The new law actually reduces the current felony penalties teens
could face for sexting. The tiered system grades consensual sexting
as a summary offense, while cases of sexting with the intent of causing
emotional distress will be graded as a second-degree misdemeanor. The law requires judges to consider diversionary educational programs
in lieu of prosecution. These records also would be eligible for expungement. HR 301 of 2013
