The new bestsellers this week include "Whistler," "Land," and "The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion: Vol. 1."

Aimee liked "Cleo Dang Would Rather Be Dead" by Mai Nguyen.

"I laughed. I cried. It was a cathartic read," she said.

About this book: A darkly humorous yet deeply moving novel that follows a grieving mother who, after losing her infant shortly after birth, takes a job at a funeral home and discovers that the best way to honor the dead is to insist on living.
