Free Nutrition Classes offered through the University Of Delaware Cooperative Extension.

I'm reaching out to Kent or Sussex County who serves the community that may be interested in providing one of these series for a church, community center, school, etc.

As a Nutrition and Well-being Agent I have the opportunity to facilitate two programs in person or via Zoom.

(EFNEP) Eating Smart and Moving More 🍎🍇🙆‍♂️
Through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program you will explore how you can:
• Cook and eat more meals and snacks at home
• Eat more fruits and vegetables
• Be more active
• Reach and/or stay at a healthy weight
• Save money on food
• Control portion sizes
• Have more energy
• Keep food safe

Nourishment and healthy living is important, no matter what your age. As we grow older however, our needs begin to change.
In this nutrition series, we’ll create a safe learning environment where you can enjoy conversation, share cooking tips, and continue to learn about self-care and healthy living. We will explore:
-our nutritional needs for good physical/mental health
-how stress contributes to poor nutrition and health
-our personal relationship to food, mood, and stress
-ways to cook healthy meals
-techniques for a mindful and stress-reducing approach to eating,
meal preparation, and navigating
the food environment.
