NWS Gray Doppler Radar was taken down this morning and will be down for the next 2 to 3 days for necessary and routine upgrades. This was scheduled maintenance and just happened to coincide with the return of rain. We will still have radar overlap from our surrounding radars, and we are not expecting any severe weather during this time. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

* At 345 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gilmanton, or
14 miles southeast of Laconia, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

We are keeping our 👀on Saturday for possible severe storms. The primary hazards will include damaging winds, hail, and a low probability of a tornado in southern parts of the forecast area.
