Thank you to the 60+ teens who auditioned for Hadestown: Teen Edition! The creative team was blown away by your talent and professionalism. Casting this show was extremely difficult. If you were not cast this time around, please know there is a place for you at SEACT. Our Spring Afterschool Conservatory and Seussical JR. auditions are just around the corner. We hope everyone had a meaningful educational experience and learned more about the musical theatre audition process--and most importantly, we hope you felt just how encouraging a theatre community can be. We look forward to working with you in the future!

​There will be a required parent, cast, and student crew meeting on Thursday, October 29th at 6:30 PM at the Cultural Arts Center. We will welcome you into the process, walk you through the production logistics, and answer any questions you might have.

U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, begins writing to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, hoping to meet her someday if the war will allow. But as the war continues, it threatens to end their relationship before it even starts. Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig (Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, Lend Me a Tenor) tells the joyous, heartwarming story of his parents’ courtship during World War II and the results are anything but expected.

Dothan audiences are encouraged to attend the museum event on November 13th, but we will also have a special Veteran's Day preview performance on Wednesday, November 11th at the Cultural Arts Center at 7:00 PM. $10 tickets for this preview performance will be available at the door only.

SEACT members will be able to attend either performance for free but will need to make a reservation. Respond to your email invite or reach out to [email protected] with your preferred performance date and number of seats. Non-members are $10 at the door (preview only).
