🚨 Day 5️⃣ and that’s a wrap on National CPR & AED Awareness Week in Houston County! 🚨

The City of Ashford, Alabama showed up in a big way, with local superheroes taking time out of their schedules to learn CPR, AED use, Narcan administration, Stop the Bleed, and how to help save a life before EMS arrives. Every person trained brings us one step closer to our goal of making Houston County HeartSafe. ❤️

A huge thank you to Following Seas Brewpub for opening its doors and providing such a unique and welcoming space for training, to the Southeast Alabama EMS Council for equipping our heroes with lifesaving skills, to Ben E. Keith Foods for keeping everyone fueled, and to Brightspeed for powering this initiative across Houston County.

Thumper was thrilled to wrap up the week at such a cool spot. Even though he was running on fumes after five days of training events, he still managed to lend a paw behind the bar. 🐾🍻

Day 2 of National CPR & AED Awareness Week was a success.

Join us tomorrow, June 3, at the City of Kinsey, Senior Center with training sessions at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Participants will receive a HeartSafe T-shirt, a free breakfast or lunch provided by Chick-fil-A East Dothan, snacks sponsored by Ben E. Keith and be entered to win a $100 Visa gift card upon completing the training.
