CPAP Plus - Dothan / Foley

Ask anyone in healthcare their least favorite word, I bet money it’s “accreditation.” Effective this year, accreditation is now an annual event rather than every three years so we’ve been on pins and needles over here awaiting our unannounced survey.
Recently over the course of a 2 day period, all four of our locations were inspected by a national accrediting agency which is required by Medicare. During this time they dig deep into patient charts, physician orders, quality assurance, performance improvement, patient surveys, anonymous staff and referral surveys, attention to detail with infection control and everything related to what we do in healthcare.
The one thing that the surveyors continued to talk about was my staff, they could not get over the professionalism, southern charm, ability to communicate with them, with patients, with referral sources on the phone, they just continued to say “your staff is very impressive”. So to Dana, Karen, Sandy, Whitney, Derick, Angie, Shanda, Kevin, Xavier, Kim and Kathi. Congratulations and Thank you! You proved what I already knew, y’all are AWESOME!
