🌽 CWK member Chicho’s is featured in the latest edition of The Boston Globe, sharing the journey behind one of Boston’s favorite street corn businesses.

✨ Founder Cesar Guzman built Chicho’s to celebrate his Mexican heritage and the elote he grew up enjoying in Texas. With support from CommonWealth Kitchen, he prepared every step of launching his business—from food production to permitting—and quickly became a downtown favorite with lines stretching down the block.

🚚 As the city’s Food Cart Pilot Program evolved, Cesar adapted by expanding Chicho’s into a food truck, allowing him to continue serving customers while exploring new opportunities for growth. His story highlights both the determination of small food entrepreneurs and the importance of creating clear, accessible pathways that help local businesses thrive.

💚 We’re proud to support entrepreneurs like Cesar as they build resilient businesses, share their cultures through food, and strengthen Greater Boston’s vibrant food community.
