The Courage Counts Challenge ends tomorrow, and we need your help to reach our goal of $15,000.

Over the past two weeks, participants have walked, run, read, worked out, practiced mindfulness, and taken on personal challenges in honor of the courage and resilience of first responders. Their dedication has been inspiring to watch.

Now we're asking our community to help us finish strong.

Your donation supports the First Responder Support Network's peer-led healing retreats and programs for first responders and their significant others impacted by trauma. Every gift helps ensure that those who spend their lives helping others have a place to turn when they need support.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, participated, and shared our mission. If you're able, please consider making a donation today and help us cross the finish line together.

On PTSD Awareness Day, we want every first responder to know one thing: healing happens here.

The challenges that come with a career in fire service, law enforcement, EMS and dispatch can leave lasting impacts. But recovery is possible, and no one has to face it alone.

That's why we offer two six-day retreats designed to help first responders and their significant others recover from the effects of trauma and post-traumatic stress.

WCPR (West Coast Post Trauma Retreat) helps first responders recover from work-related trauma and post-traumatic stress injuries through peer support, education, and connection.

SOS (Significant Others and Spouses) retreat is designed specifically for designed specifically for current or former partners, spouses, and widows of emergency responders. It is a place to step away from the constant demands of home and work and focus, perhaps for the first time in a long time, on your own healing.

If you or someone you love is struggling with the effects of service-related trauma, help is available.

Small daily actions can make a big difference. ❤️

For first responders, wellness is not just about what happens during a crisis. It is built through the habits and choices you make every day. Taking a moment to check in with yourself, moving between calls, connecting with your crew, creating healthy boundaries after shift, and prioritizing sleep can all help strengthen resilience and support long-term well-being.

If you’re finding it difficult to move forward from the cumulative stress and trauma of the job, you do not have to do it alone. The First Responder Support Network offers life-changing, peer-led retreats designed specifically for first responders and their significant others.
