The Dillingham Imagination Library, in conjunction with the Curyung Tribal Council, is proud to provide a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book to all children living in Dillingham, Aleknagik and Koliganek from birth to 5 years old. We are the largest Imagination Library in the Bristol Bay area and are dedicated to boosting literacy and reading opportunities for the young children in our commun

Yay for Best Beginnings and Imagination Library!
We are honored to share that Best Beginnings is one of 10 organizations selected from nominations across the United States to receive a State Literacy Award from the Library of Congress in 2020!

We want to thank Alaska Center for the Book for nominating Best Beginnings for our “outstanding and innovative contributions to literacy in the local community and across the state”.
