A heartfelt thank you to Detroit City Angela Whitfield Calloway for taking the time to speak with the clients and staff of Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries at the Return, Revive & Thrive: Career Day for Returning Citizens held today at the Northwest Activity Center.

The event was filled with powerful stories of resilience, hope, and second chances.

One of our clients shared that she was so inspired by the speakers and the personal testimonies of individuals who had overcome incarceration and homelessness that she left believing, “I can do it too.”

Thank you to The Elliottorian Business and Professional Women, Inc. for organizing such a meaningful event and creating a space where encouragement, opportunity, and transformation could thrive.

We are just TWO days away from DWIHN’s Walk for Mental Health! This SATURDAY, May 30th from 9:00AM–2:00PM, join us as we come together to support mental wellness, community connection, and healthy living.

The walk will begin and end at O’Hair Park (20427 Stahelin), with the route passing our latest community offering, the DWIHN 7 Mile Behavioral Health Wellness Campus (18510 W. Seven Mile Rd).
