Happy 50th to Detroit’s own prolific author, musician, Mr. Josh Malerman! Here’s some photos from his BIRD BOX book release party back in 2014 and a few more! !

Greektown in Detroit is under construction and this is what it looks like now. The plan is to make Monroe Street a more walkable, and engaging public space. Branded as “A New Greektown: Honoring History, Embracing the Future,” the four-block stretch will feature wider sidewalks, more greenery, flexible curb-less lanes, and infrastructure designed to support both daily foot traffic and large-scale events. Personally, I can’t wait to see it completed. In the meantime, all the businesses are still open and you can still walk the sidewalks. #detroit #greektowndetroit
