Piper & Gold Public Relations is looking for two passionate students who want to gain experience in writing, social media and public relations to join their team this summer. 

What will the Communications and Public Relations Intern do?

• Write. A lot. (including press releases, op-eds, columns, blogs and more.)
• Social media creation and management
• Media relations
• Event planning
• Other opportunities as they arise, including crisis communications, survey analysis, focus group facilitation and more!

Who is going to be a good fit? 
• A current junior — or an experienced and ambitious sophomore — college student is preferred.
• An exceptional writer with an understanding of AP style.
• A resourceful individual with a growth mindset. 
• Someone who is organized and detail-oriented.

‼️WINTER 2025 INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY‼️

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is seeking a social media intern for a paid position of 10 hours a week, for the Winter 2025 semester.!

Duties include:
• Attending and photographing departmental events
• Creating visual promotions for the department using Canva and/or AdobePhotoshop
• Maintaining the social media accounts — regularly updating Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn
• Providing content for the (department) Flickr account and YouTube channel
• Develop content and managing for various departmental social media feeds
• Engaging with publics through social media (students, alumni, potential students)
• Attending events and developing content about the departments research, teaching and
community engagement activities
• Coordinate with dean’s office to promote content and events
• Weekly meetings with Department Chair
