WE ARE READY FOR ACTION!!!

Times are posted and draws have been released for the 40TH ANNUAL BELLE ISLE LONGWALL CHAMPIONSHIPS presented by Splathead, Chick-fil-A and Benito's Pizza.

A few items to note:

- We want to run a smooth and timely as possible tournament for all to enjoy. Please check in a half-hour before your matches so that we can start matches on time

- You need a recreation pass to enter Belle Isle. If you don't have one and are a Michigan resident, it is only $14 for an annual pass. If you are a non-resident, it is an $11 day pass (Either pass can be purchased at the entry booth to the park, if there is an attendant present)

- On Saturdays, the Island has been getting extremely busy starting around 12pm and backing up cars on the bridge making entry very slow. Please plan ahead and give yourself enough time so as to not delay your matches because wait times have been up to 45 minutes for people to enter the park. Plan on showing up 1 hour before your matches so you don't get stuck on the bridge.

2024 Belle Isle Longwall Championships Racquetball Tournament in Detroit, MI USA. Dates: 8/17/2024 - 8/18/2024.

Calling all racquetball players who want to try Padel or if you've played and want to play for free for a day. I am organizing a free Padel day in conjunction with the owners at Zmash for all the players who want to play. Free balls, loaner padel rackets free court time and basic instruction by me on the rules and strategy to play at Zmash Padel in Sterling Heights. I will also provide snacks and light refreshments. I am looking at dates on a Wednesday or Thursday evening in the next week or two. Once I have a headcount I will confirm the date and time for the event. Who wants to give this amazingly fun sport a try or try it again if you've already played? I am gathering a list for headcount.
