Record snowfall made the waterfalls flow harder than ever for the time of year we went. Also was during mr. presi’s first gov. shutdown. We started in the valley, explored the trails, water falls and Ansel Adam’s gallery. Stopped for lunch then made our way up to Glacier Point. It’s at this point that our rental Ford Expedition, that legally only I could drive, has my hand prints imprinted into the steering wheel from gripping it so hard up these twisting mountain curves from sea level up to 7,214 feet!! I don’t think in my 16 years of Michigan driving I’ve turned a steering wheel back and forth that much.

The views were worth every butt hole clench & heart palpitation up that mountain. To go from thinking Pine K**b is a big (ha lady you crazy) to coming around that first bend seeing Half Dome pop out at you was truly breathtakingly unforgettable.

Everyone should spend time in the mountains, amongst big trees and giant waterfalls and drop offs that make you realize how tiny you are on this plant. A lil tiny spec.
