Friday night’s still sticking with us. Such a great time to be back out playing live again and it was even better to be amongst great company with and at !

💥HAPPY RELEASE FRIDAY!💥Todag we are releasing our new single out into the wild that truly ushers in a new era of Mystery Math. After a lineup change last year, we pivoted from being primarily instrumental to a more vocal driven band. Drummer is no stranger to writing lyrics and singing so he took on double duties as the lead vocalist and drummer.

“Convenience Over Destiny” has been kicking around for a few years now. It was a fully formed flowing guitar track written by and we just never finished it as a full band until now. Nate recorded this one beautifully as his production of our songs just keeps getting better!

The message behind this song is the current state we’re in now of technology and AI really gutting the natural creativity in all of us. As we sing “It’s all greed.” Trying to make things sell faster and in greater numbers. We can’t quite escape it at this point, but we can fight it for the sake of our soul.
