The Community-Engaged Collaborative for the Promotion of Access to Technology and Health (CEC-PATH; pronounced “seek path”) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our communities through meaningful community-academic partnerships.

Wayne State University CEC-PATH is now taking applications for the 2025 Community Health Scholars Program (CHSP) cohort. CHSP is a FREE program that will prepare learners to get deeply involved with their community's health through research and provide knowledge and skills to influence community-based research in roles such as advisory board members, consultants, and research personnel. CHSP provides in-depth training to prepare learners to serve as partners and leaders in research.
Community residents who reside or work in metro Detroit and/or the staff of local metro Detroit community-based organizations are encouraged to apply! Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, a formal background in healthcare or research is not required. Research is important in shaping healthcare experiences and innovations and is missing YOUR perspective.
All applications must be submitted by April 25, 2025.
